For our assignment we had to find an old/discarded piece of furniture and transform it into something new; we had to give it a new meaning.

Picked up this mdf/veneered tabletop off the curb, sawed it into pieces to make a leaf shape and put them back together using biscuit joints and glue. Found the branches in my backyard to use as legs, two of them had been cut from my cherry tree a few years back.

..and lastly - a gift from Stan! He's the man, and I might have been the happiest person in the world for a good half hour after receiving this.
